Hi there! My name is Manuel and I am a freelance game developer. I work with Unity (C#) and the Unreal Engine 4 (C++). I also developed some projects using javascript/typescript and the electron framework.

The Settlers Online: Castle Empire is an online browser-based version inspired by The Settlers and developed by BlueByte Ubisoft.
In the game, the player has to build a city, defeat bandit camps and complete quests to earn XP and level up, unlocking different new buildings, mines and soldiers.
My Contribution
It was an honor and pleasure supporting Mi'pu'mi porting The Settlers Online to WebGL. My tasks were:
Porting code from ActionScript to Java and C# (Unity)
StreamBreak offers Minigames and interactive ads which are played by an entire live stream audience.

Our unique setup enables VR-Players to not only experience a game themselves, but share their experiences with non-VR-Players. Only if the VR-Player does not neglect their duty of helping their fellow PC-Players and only if the PC-Players decide to work together, can they outrun their demise.

About The Project
The Weaving Tides is a charming singleplayer adventure set in wolrd of magic and textile, released on May 27th 2021 on Steam and Nintendo Switch. Ride on the backs of carpet dragons and explore a stunning textile landscape, as you soar above and dive below the weave.
My Contribution
Working with Follow The Feathers on their very own game made in Unity was awesome. supported them developing the UI and specifically worked on:
Inventory system
Shop system
Collectible items and equipment handling
It was a pleasure working with the feathers'!
Flumen

Flumen is a 2.5D single-player adventure-puzzle-platformer with emphasis on sound and interactions. The player needs to use the skills and mechanics to overcome the obstacles and move towards the goal.
Usually the soundtrack is just passive, but in Flumen it’s an active gameplay element. To solve the puzzles, the player needs to manipulate the music and therefore the level parts.
Color Factory

Color Factory is a 2v2 Arcade-Game. The playing field is like a city district on which targets appear in different colors. Each team's goal is to mix the target color by combining two different colors from each player and hit it. But caution is advised, obstacles in the form of cars drive through the district and make this task more difficult.

About The Project
Bridge Constructor is a physics-based simulation-puzzle video game developed by ClockStone and published by Headup Games. The game is based on planning out a bridge across a river or ravine using a number of parts, limited by the geometry of the space and the total cost of the parts. The goal for each scenario is to make sure that one or more vehicles driving across the bridge can reach the other side safely.
My Contribution
Working for ClockStone as an intern in 2014 for 4 months was an unique experience. It was my first company specialized in game development. During that time I was entrusted to work on Bridge Constructor solely. My tasks were:
Port Bridge Constructor to the XBox One console in Unity
Design and implement a new control mechanic
Implement specific Microsoft/XBox requirements
Communicate with publisher
